BLENDER'S STORY:
Coming off a personal high from the outcome of Ritual 5: Discovering Your Art, I felt I had done justice to making a complex bourbon expression that was wildly different than most of the bourbon I’ve tasted.
So I decided to challenge myself - selfishly - and use a majority of single malt in the next blend. I felt that if I could make something that checks the boxes for me as a Single malt enthusiast, but still hits familiar notes of Bourbon and American Rye, to get the best of all three worlds. And something that I can recreate time after time despite what components I have to switch up, then I have truly created something special.
Long story short, it worked, at least in my eyes. I’m very proud of how this first batch turned out.
Please share with your friends and loved ones, and most importantly, be kind.
